The hen is the upright shape in the Layerz Forage pair, taller through the body than the low-slung Hedgehog, with the quilted folds stacked up its sides. The mechanism behind both is the same: push a few treats down between the layers and let the dog nose, shake and dig them free rather than tipping them out. Crinkle film and squeakers reward the shaking. Supplied in Medium, which KONG sizes for dogs of about 7-16 kg, and rated for light to moderate chewing, so it is a supervised enrichment toy rather than a chew for a determined shredder.

96% polyester, 3% plastic squeaker and 1% crinkle film. Medium, for dogs of about 7-16 kg. Rated for light to moderate chewing: supervise every session, check the seams and squeaker after play, and retire the toy once it starts to open. Hand wash and air dry. Made in China.
