An elastic bungee cord threaded through the middle is what separates KONG Rope Bunji from an ordinary rope tug: the toy stretches and springs back under a pull instead of transmitting the full jolt straight to your arm or your dog's neck. A loop at each end gives both of you something proper to hold, so nobody is pinching a frayed rope end. The same spring makes it good to throw — it bounces oddly on landing — and a dog will happily shake it about alone.

Materials and care
KONG gives the composition as 50% polyester, 40% cotton and 10% vulcanised rubber, made in China. As with any rope toy, check it before each session and put it away once the strands begin to fray or the bungee is exposed — loose rope fibres should not be swallowed.
