The ball is what separates the KONG Signature Rope Dual Knot with Ball from the plain knotted ropes in this line. It puts weight at one end, so the toy can actually be thrown a useful distance and bounces off true when it lands — turning a tug rope into something a dog will also chase and bring back. The knots along the rope still do their job: a thicker section to grip during tug and a denser bit to gnaw. Supplied in one size, in the same braided cotton and fleece used across the Signature range.
