The KONG Signature Stick with Rope is the same stuffed fabric stick with a cotton rope threaded down the length of it, stocked here in Medium. The rope is what changes the toy: it hands you a grip that sits well away from your dog's teeth during a tug, and it carries the strain when the stick is being swung around, which the fabric body alone would not. The stick still squeaks, rattles and crinkles, so it stays noisy through a shake as well as a throw.
