Black Parrot Chews are 15mm 17% protein chunks made for large parrots and black cockatoos that need something to work at. The size is the point — a bird that shreds and manipulates its food stays occupied, which is a real factor in feather-plucking behaviour. Too large for small parrots, which will simply ignore them.
Feeding & Use
Offer as part of the daily ration or as enrichment in a foraging feeder. Suits macaws, black cockatoos and other large hookbills; not appropriate for budgies, cockatiels or small conures.
Storage
Keep the bag closed, off the ground and out of direct sun. Bulk feed keeps best somewhere cool and dry, and vermin-proof storage matters more than the bag itself once you open it.
