The Cat Buddy Tuff is the hard-wearing version of the classic Buddy mat: the same cross-maze surface, moulded in the tougher Tuff rubber. It is the mat to buy for a cat that treats everything as something to bite.
The Buddy pattern holds small kibble, raw food and sticky spreads well. Tuff mats are also dishwasher safe, which the softer classic mats are not — a real advantage if you are feeding raw and want a proper wash rather than a rinse.
Tuff does not mean indestructible. Check the mat over regularly and replace it if the surface is being torn rather than licked.
