Freeze-dried carrot pieces for rabbits and guinea pigs. Carrot is the treat almost every small pet already knows, which makes it the easiest one to hand-feed with. It is also one of the sweeter vegetables, so it belongs in the one-or-two-pieces-a-day category rather than the daily-greens category — particularly for an overweight rabbit.
Benefits
- Vitamins A and C — carrot is a strong source of vitamin A in particular
- Easy to hand-feed — the piece size and familiar flavour suit taming and bonding
- Supports growth — Little Cheeks positions it as a contributor to bone and muscle development
Ingredients
100% freeze-dried carrot.
Feeding Guide
Freeze drying removes the water but not the sugar, so a piece weighs far less than the fresh vegetable it came from and tastes more concentrated. Little Cheeks recommends starting small to check tolerance and limiting to one or two pieces a day. Keep fresh water available, and store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place.
