A nylon H-style harness and matching lead sized for dwarf rabbits, in red, yellow or green. Rabbits have a fragile spine and a powerful kick, so the harness has to spread the load across the chest rather than pull on the neck. Even fitted correctly, a rabbit that bolts can hurt itself — use this for supervised time on grass, and drop the lead rather than hauling on it.
Fitting it
Adjust so you can slip two fingers under the strap and no more. Let the animal wear the harness indoors for a few short sessions before you ever clip the lead on — a small pet that panics in a harness outdoors is a real risk of injury. Never tie a harnessed animal up and leave it, and keep outings to shaded, quiet ground.
