The complete impeller assembly for the Marina / Elite Crystal-Flo CF40 canister filter. When a canister hums but delivers little or no flow, the impeller is the usual cause — grit in the well, a worn shaft, or a chipped vane. Strip and clean it first; fit a new assembly if the shaft is scored or the magnet is cracked.
Notes
- CF40 only. The CF20, CF60 and CF80 use different assemblies.
- Clean the impeller well too — a new impeller in a gritty well fails just as quickly.
- Canister bodies are no longer in general distribution; spares like this one still are.
