A slim hang-on-back power filter for small and mid-sized freshwater aquariums. It hangs on the rear rim, draws water up through a replaceable cartridge and returns it over a weir, so it takes up no space inside the tank. Pick by tank volume, not by fish count — and note the intake sits below the waterline, so a tank kept deliberately low on water (a betta or paludarium setup) is not a good fit.
Choosing a size
- S10 — aquariums up to 38 L (10 US gal). 4.1 W.
- S15 — aquariums up to 57 L (15 US gal).
- S20 — aquariums up to 76 L (20 US gal). 5.1 W.
Features
- Quick-change cartridge — slides in and out from the top, no dismantling.
- One cartridge range for all three sizes — S10, S15 and S20 all take the same Bio-Carb and Bio-Clear cartridges. Each filter ships with one of each.
