Replacement foam for the Marina Underwater filter, two blocks per pack. The foam does the mechanical work — trapping particles — and carries most of the filter's bacteria colony, so it is the part worth rinsing rather than replacing on a schedule.
Using it
- Rinse in tank water at each water change; tap water kills the bacteria.
- Replace about every two months, or when the foam no longer springs back after squeezing.
- Match the size — 50, 75, 100 and 150 foams are not interchangeable.
