Marks-Min puts zinc, copper, manganese, selenium and vitamin B12 into one injection for beef and dairy cattle, which is the point of it — one yarding instead of several, timed to the moments when trace mineral status actually matters: around calving, joining and drying off.
Withholding is nil for meat, nil for milk and nil for export slaughter, so it does not sit between you and a sale.
Supplied in 500ml and 1L. For herds that should not receive additional copper, see Marks-Min Copper Free.
Composition per litre
Zinc 26.7 g (as disodium zinc EDTA), copper 10 g (as disodium copper EDTA), manganese 6.7 g (as disodium manganese EDTA), selenium 3.3 g (as sodium selenite), vitamin B12 1.4 g (as cyanocobalamin).
Key points
- Five nutrients, one injection
- Nil WHP for meat and milk, nil ESI
- Schedule 6
- Beef and dairy cattle
Use
Trace mineral injections are a targeted correction, not a routine top-up. Confirm a deficiency with blood or liver testing before starting a program, and work to a vet's recommendation on dose and timing. Injectable trace minerals bypass the rumen, so the margin between a therapeutic dose and an excessive one is narrower than with a lick or a premix — selenium in particular.
