Mini Mate is a bulk small animal litter in a 7kg bag, for use in litter trays and under bedding in hutches and cages. It absorbs rather than clumps, so the routine is a full change on a schedule rather than daily scooping.
Bulk is the trade-off. A 7kg bag is good value per change but takes up space once opened - decant into a lidded tub so it stays dry and does not pick up smells from the shed.
Features
- 7kg bag - sized for regular full tray changes.
- Absorbent - holds liquid through the bed.
- Tray or cage base - use under a soft bedding layer where the animal actually sleeps.
Pair it with a soft nesting layer - most small pets want something to burrow into on top of the litter. See the rest of our small animal bedding and litter.
