Relyte is an electrolyte replacer — it puts back the body salts a horse loses in sweat. Equine sweat is more concentrated in electrolytes than human sweat, so a horse in hard work or travelling through an Australian summer depletes sodium, potassium and chloride faster than most owners expect. Electrolytes only work alongside water: never give them to a horse that cannot drink freely, and do not treat them as a substitute for cooling the horse down properly.
Supplied as a 20kg bulk pack, sized for a racing stable or busy competition yard rather than a single horse. For the rest of the range see Mitavite.
Features
- Sweat replacement — formulated around the salts lost in equine sweat
- 20kg bulk pack — lowest cost per dose in the range, for yards using it daily
- For work, travel and heat
Feeding Guide
Feed at the rate printed on the pack, matched to workload and conditions. Always provide free access to clean water. If a horse goes off feed containing electrolytes, offer plain feed and a separate salt source rather than forcing intake.
