NexGard Spectra Spot-On for Cats

NexGard Spectra Spot-On for Cats is a monthly topical parasite treatment for cats and kittens, applied from a single-use applicator instead of a tablet - which matters if your cat is one of the many who will not swallow one. PeekAPaw stocks both applicator sizes in 3 pack and 6 pack: the purple 0.3 mL applicator for kittens and small cats from 0.8 - 2.4 kg, and the yellow 0.9 mL applicator for cats from 2.5 - 7.5 kg. One monthly application covers fleas, ticks, mites, heartworm, lungworm and intestinal worms. Choose the applicator by your cat's current weight rather than by age - a well-grown kitten can already sit in the yellow band, and the two bands do not overlap.

Active ingredients

83 g/L praziquantel, 12 g/L esafoxolaner and 4 g/L eprinomectin.

Safety and precautions

• Safe for kittens from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 0.8 kg.
• Safety demonstrated in breeding, pregnant and lactating queens, and heartworm-infected cats.
• To minimise the risk of tick paralysis, daily searching and removal of ticks is still required.
