A barrier cream for dogs with pink or white skin on the nose, eyelids and ear tips — the areas that burn first on a light-coated dog in an Australian summer.
It is a physical barrier, applied and reapplied. It does not replace shade and it will not treat skin that is already ulcerated, crusted or bleeding; that needs a vet. Dogs lick their noses, so reapplication is frequent by design.
