The material is deliberately softer than the adult Nylabone tiers so it gives slightly under milk teeth — a puppy that can barely dent a Power Chew will actually get somewhere with this one, which is what keeps them off shoes and skirting boards.
Raised nubs across the surface press into sore gums as the puppy works at it. Chicken flavour is blended through the material.

When to move on
Once the adult teeth are through, step up to a Moderate or Power Chew — a puppy chew will not last long against a mature bite.
Safety
Supervise chewing and replace the toy when the nubs wear flat or a piece is bitten off.
