Hoof Health Plus is aimed at hoof integrity in cattle, delivered as a free-choice block. Hoof horn is built from the same trace minerals that get short on poor country, which is why nutrition is part of any lameness conversation.
Nutrition is only part of it. Wet, muddy laneways, hard tracks and long intervals between trims cause more lameness than mineral status does on most properties, and a block will not fix any of those. Treat it as one input alongside footbaths, track maintenance and prompt attention to lame animals.
Feeding & Use
Place blocks where stock camp or water, under cover where possible. Feed continuously — hoof horn grows slowly, so changes take months. Always provide clean, fresh water.
