A high-specification phosphorus block at 8% P, using an organic phosphorus source. This is the block for genuinely phosphorus-deficient country where the deficiency is limiting growth and fertility, rather than a general mineral supplement.
Phosphorus supplementation returns the most when there is green feed to use — wet season country in the north is the classic case. Feeding it through a dry period on mature feed costs money for much less return, so time it to the season.
Feeding & Use
Place blocks where stock camp or water, under cover where possible. Provide enough blocks that shy feeders get access. Always provide clean, fresh water.
