The Perfect Pecker is a 1kg peck block for chickens — a hard block hens work at over days rather than eat in one sitting. The nutritional contribution is modest; the behavioural one is the point.
Hens kept in a run get bored, and bored hens start on each other. Feather pecking is easier to prevent than to stop, and giving a flock something to peck that is not another bird is one of the cheaper interventions. It will not fix overcrowding or a flock that has already learned the habit — those need space and management.
Feeding & Use
Place in the run where hens can reach it, ideally out of the rain. Offer alongside the normal ration, not instead of it. Always provide clean, fresh water.
