Two small discs with a scratch surface that spin when a cat works at them. The spin is what stops a cat losing interest: a flat scratch pad gives nothing back, a disc that moves under the paw does.
They are cheap enough to put in more than one room, which is the actual trick with scratching. Cats scratch where they wake up and where they enter a room - a scratcher in the wrong place gets ignored no matter how good it is.
These are a supplement, not a replacement for a full-height post. A cat that wants to stretch out and drag its claws downward needs something tall and stable.
Features
- Two per pack - put them in two rooms
- Spins under the paw - more engaging than a flat pad
- Small footprint - fits where a post will not
