A high-protein soft food for the three points in a small parrot's year when a seed diet falls furthest short: breeding, moulting, and weaning. At 23% protein it is well above what any seed mix delivers, and that is the point — it is a supplement to lift a seed diet, not a diet in itself.
It has to be mixed fresh and fed daily, which is the real cost of using it. Breeders accept that; owners of a single pet budgie often do not.

Feeding
As a moist crumble, mix 10g (1 scoop) of powder with about 3ml (half a teaspoon) of water and stir with a fork. Or mix 10g of powder with 20g (2 scoops) of diced vegetables or soaked seed. Prepare fresh each day to avoid microbial contamination.
