A chlorhexidine solution that does three jobs from one bottle: keeps drinking water from going green, stops soaked and sprouting seed turning sour, and cleans containers and cages at a stronger dilution. Soaked seed is the one most people underestimate — warm, wet seed is a bacterial culture unless something is stopping it.

Chlorhexidine digluconate 10mg/ml, equivalent to a 1% w/v solution.
Directions
- Drinking water and soaked seed — 5ml (1 teaspoon) per 10 litres of fresh water
- General cleaning — 20ml (4 teaspoons) per 1 litre of fresh water
Safe for daily use in birds and animals at the recommended dilution.

Worth knowing
A disinfectant keeps clean water clean — it does not make dirty water safe. Change water and wash the container regardless.
