A water-soluble vitamin and mineral powder for birds on a diet that is not meeting their needs — which, for a bird on plain seed, is most of the time. It goes into drinking water or into soft food, so it fits whichever routine you already have.
The important caveat is on the label: this is for birds on inadequate diets. Birds already eating a fortified Passwell or Wombaroo food do not need it, and adding it risks oversupply.
Directions
- Drinking water — 1g per litre
- Soaked seed and food — 2g per kg
Mix in well and prepare fresh daily. One enclosed spoon holds 1g.
What is in it
Twenty vitamins and minerals — vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, K and biotin, plus copper, iodine, potassium, magnesium, manganese, selenium and zinc. Vitamin E 30,000mg/kg, niacin 25,000mg/kg, vitamin C 25,000mg/kg, pantothenic acid 12,000mg/kg.
Storage and cautions
Store in a cool, dry place. Vitamins A and D3 are toxic to birds at high doses — do not add this to foods that are already fortified.
