The Fillables are the hollow half of the Chewtastic GEO range. Each shape is moulded in natural rubber with an angled, off-centre form, so it rolls and bounces in a direction the dog cannot predict — and each one has a cavity you can pack with kibble, wet food or peanut butter to slow the game down.
Natural rubber is tough but it is not indestructible rubber: this is a toy for a dog that chews and works at something, not for a dog that sets out to destroy it in one sitting. Four shapes, each with a different action:
- Geo-Spherix Ball — a ball with a hollow core; the most familiar shape for a dog new to the range.
- Geo-Metz Roller — cross-shaped, so it tumbles rather than rolls and drops treats as it goes. 9 × 9 × 5cm.
- Geo-Pentra Tube — pentagonal ridges on a tube; the ridges hold spreadable food for licking.
- Geo-Rella Dispenser — needs a paw, a nudge and a lick in combination, so it is the hardest of the four.
The solid, non-filling versions of the same range are the Chewtastic GEO chew toys, including a softer Gentle edition for puppies and older dogs.
Care
Rinse in warm water and air dry. Freezer-friendly — filling and freezing makes a session last considerably longer.
Safety
Supervise play. Check for splits or missing pieces before each use and retire the toy if the rubber tears.
