Pet DreamHouse makes two separate slow-feeding systems, and knowing which one you are buying into matters more than the colour. The PAW products are single moulded paw-shaped trays. The SPIN products are a modular system: a base with interchangeable functional tops. All of them are food-grade, free of BPA and PVC, freezer-friendly and dishwasher-safe on the top rack only.
PAW: a tray, nothing to assemble
The PAW Slow Feeder Wet & Dry Bowl is the plain tray, divided into large compartments and smaller pockets so a meal has to be worked out of the shape instead of inhaled. The PAW 2-in-1 adds a removable textured lick mat with a suction cup, which lifts off and sticks to a bath or shower wall — useful for occupying a dog during a wash. The Mini is the same idea in a smaller footprint, and the one to choose for a small dog or a cat.
SPIN: check you have the base
The SPIN Windmill is a complete feeder: a bowl with a windmill centre holding treats, which the dog nudges and spins. The centre is removable, height-adjustable and can be flipped to make the puzzle harder, so one bowl covers a beginner and a dog that has worked it out. The SPIN 2-in-1 Lick Pad & Frisbee is an add-on — it fits an existing SPIN base, and on its own it is a flying toy, not a feeder. Buying the add-on without a base is the mistake worth avoiding.
With either system, spreading wet food across the surface and freezing it turns a two-minute meal into a much longer one.
