A pour-over oil for dogs, sized by body weight: 200ml for dogs 1-20kg and 500ml for dogs 20-40kg and above. Oils are the easiest supplement to get into a fussy dog because they go on the food and smell like food. The trade-off is calories — an oil is energy-dense, so if your dog is already carrying weight, either cut the meal back or use a powder instead.
Once opened, keep it cool and use it within the period on the label; oils go rancid and a rancid oil is worse than no oil. See the full Pet Drs range.
Choosing a size
- 200ml — dogs 1-20kg
- 500ml — dogs 20-40kg and above
- Pour over the main meal at the rate on the label
- Store cool and sealed; do not decant into an open dish
