Australian-grown straw for bedding down rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and backyard chickens. Straw is hollow-stemmed, so it traps air and insulates far better than hay — that is why it belongs in the sleeping area and nest boxes. It is bedding, not feed: straw has little nutritional value, so it does not replace the grass hay your rabbit or guinea pig should have in front of it all day.

Use
Lay a base layer in the sleeping area or nest box and refresh as it becomes soiled. Store sealed in a cool, dry place — damp straw moulds quickly.
