Rats and mice are omnivores, and this is the Peters mix that acknowledges it — steamed and rolled barley, extruded cereal pieces, oats and sunflower seed with meat extrusions and chewy carob folded through. Suitable for all adult mice and rat breeds. If you keep rats on a low-protein diet for health reasons, the Vegetarian version is the one to look at instead.
800g pack. Sunflower seed is the fattiest component and the piece rats will hunt out first, so watch condition on a caged animal that does not get much exercise.
Benefits
- Animal protein included — meat extrusions alongside the grain base.
- Foraging mix — several textures to sort through, which matters for a species this intelligent.
- Dental wear — hard grains and pellets for continuously growing incisors.
Ingredients
Steamed and rolled barley, extruded cereal pieces, oats, black sunflower seed, wheat, banana chips, micro pellets, flaked peas, meat extrusions, carob, vegetable oil and colours.
