A soft plush recovery collar that keeps a cat or small dog off stitches, a wound or a hot spot while it heals. The padded ring is gentler to wear and sleep in than a rigid plastic cone, which matters over a week or two of recovery.
The trade-off is reach. A soft collar sits closer to the neck than a cone, so it stops a pet reaching its body but is less effective against a determined animal working on a paw or tail. Check with your vet if the wound is low down.
Fit
- Medium — neck circumference 21–29cm, recommended for pets around 2.5–5kg
- Large — neck circumference 24–33cm, recommended for pets around 5–9kg
Measure the neck rather than going by weight if the two disagree.
