Grand Prix Oil is Ranvet's general-purpose feeding oil — a 1:3 omega-3 to omega-6 blend with natural garlic oil for palatability, aimed at adding energy without the fizz of extra grain. Fat takes four to six weeks for a horse to adapt to, so it needs introducing slowly; poured on at full rate from day one it will loosen manure.
Available in 5L, 20L and a 205L drum. The higher omega-3 racing formula is Ranvet Racing Oil.

Composition (per litre)
Omega-3 (linolenic acid) 90ml, omega-6 (linoleic acid) 270ml, plus natural garlic oil.
Feeding Guide
Start at 30-50ml daily and build over four to six weeks. Horses in training 30-150ml daily; horses with metabolic disturbance 150-300ml daily. Fat should not exceed about 10% of the total diet.
