A shock-absorbing lead built around a stretch spring, so the jolt of a dog hitting the end of the lead lands in the spring rather than your wrist and shoulder. The handle is lined with soft neoprene and the stitching is reflective for early mornings and evening walks. The same give that saves your arm means the dog gains a little ground under load — useful on a trail, less so when you need a dog held to an exact line at a kerb.
Rufus & Coco does not publish the lead length or a maximum dog weight for this product.
Features
- Stretch spring system — absorbs the shock of a lunge or a sudden stop.
- Neoprene comfort handle — soft cushioned lining rather than bare webbing.
- Reflective stitching — visibility on night-time walks.
- Flexible — some freedom of movement without the length of a retractable.
Care
Check the spring section and the stitching regularly and retire the lead if either shows wear. Rinse and air dry after beach or river walks.
