The threaded collar that clamps the heat exchanger assembly on a T series chiller. Replaced when the thread has been cross-threaded or the plastic has crazed and no longer pulls up evenly.
Hand tighten only — these collars seal on an O-ring, and over-tightening splits the nut rather than curing a leak.
