An add-on module that puts a Wi-Fi enabled Teco chiller on your phone — check the water temperature, change the setpoint and see operating status without standing in front of the unit. Useful if the chiller lives in a garage or under a stand, and more useful again if you leave the house in a heatwave.
The important limitation: it only works with Teco units that are Wi-Fi enabled from the factory. It cannot add connectivity to a standard model, and it is sold separately from the chiller.
Requirements
- Compatible units — TK500, TK1000 and TK2000, Wi-Fi enabled versions.
- Network — 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with WPA2 security. It will not join a 5GHz-only network.
- Smartphone — iOS 8.0 or later, Android 4.1 to 13.
- Connection — USB to micro-USB cable. A USB power adapter is not included.
