Single-ingredient freeze-dried apple.
Apple Bites are Australian apple and nothing else, freeze-dried into light, crunchy pieces. Because there is no meat, dairy or grain in the bag they suit a dog on a restricted or elimination diet, and they are light enough to hand out again and again through a training session. The honest caveat is that fruit carries natural sugar — a dog watching its weight, or one managing diabetes, should get these occasionally rather than as an everyday habit.
50g resealable bag. The rest of the range is in The Pet Project — the other flavours are Banana Bites, Chicken Bites, Kangaroo Bites and Lamb Bites.
Benefits
- One ingredient — Australian apple, freeze-dried whole. Useful when you need to know exactly what your dog is eating.
- Naturally a source of fibre — apple contributes dietary fibre for dogs that tolerate fruit well.
- Freeze-dried, not baked — the moisture is drawn off gently, which keeps the natural nutrients, flavour and aroma of the raw ingredient.
- Nothing else in the bag — no fillers, additives, preservatives or artificial flavours or colours.
- Australian made — produced locally by The Pet Project from Australian ingredients.
- Resealable 50g bag — light, dry pieces that do not go greasy in a treat pouch.
Ingredients
Australian apple (100%). Made in Australia.
Feeding Guide
Feed as a treat or reward, as a training aid, or crumbled over a meal as a topper. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily intake — cut the main meal back to suit. Always supervise your dog while it is eating and keep fresh drinking water available. Reseal the bag and store in a cool, dry place.
