Single-ingredient freeze-dried banana.
Banana Bites are ripe banana and nothing else, freeze-dried into light, crunchy pieces. With no meat, dairy or grain they are an easy option for a dog on a restricted diet, and the pieces snap down small enough for repeat rewards. Bananas are the sweetest thing in this range, though — they are higher in natural sugar than the fruit or meat alternatives, so keep portions modest for a dog watching its weight.
50g resealable bag. See the full range in The Pet Project, or the other flavours — Apple Bites, Chicken Bites, Kangaroo Bites and Lamb Bites.
Benefits
- One ingredient — banana, freeze-dried. No meat protein, so it sits outside the usual food-sensitivity triggers.
- Soft flavour — a change of pace for a dog that has gone off its usual meat treats.
- Freeze-dried, not baked — the moisture is drawn off gently, which keeps the natural nutrients, flavour and aroma of the raw ingredient.
- Nothing else in the bag — no fillers, additives, preservatives or artificial flavours or colours.
- Australian made — produced locally by The Pet Project from Australian ingredients.
- Resealable 50g bag — light, dry pieces that do not go greasy in a treat pouch.
Ingredients
Banana (100%). Made in Australia.
Feeding Guide
Feed as a treat or reward, as a training aid, or crumbled over a meal as a topper. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily intake — cut the main meal back to suit. Always supervise your dog while it is eating and keep fresh drinking water available. Reseal the bag and store in a cool, dry place.
