Lean, single-protein freeze-dried kangaroo.

Kangaroo Bites are Australian kangaroo meat and organs, freeze-dried into light, crunchy pieces. Kangaroo is wild-harvested, naturally lean and still a novel protein for most dogs, which makes it the pick of this range for a dog with skin or stomach reactions to chicken, beef or lamb. The flip side is that it only stays novel until your dog has eaten it — if kangaroo is already in the daily food, it loses that particular advantage.

50g resealable bag. More kangaroo treats and the rest of the range are in The Pet Project; the other flavours are Apple Bites, Banana Bites, Chicken Bites and Lamb Bites.

Benefits

  • Two ingredients — Australian kangaroo meat and organs, nothing else on the label.
  • Novel protein — a useful option for a dog that reacts to the common poultry and red meats.
  • Naturally lean — kangaroo is one of the leanest red meats, so these reward well without adding much fat.
  • Freeze-dried, not baked — the moisture is drawn off gently, which keeps the natural nutrients, flavour and aroma of the raw ingredient.
  • Nothing else in the bag — no fillers, additives, preservatives or artificial flavours or colours.
  • Australian made — produced locally by The Pet Project from Australian ingredients.
  • Resealable 50g bag — light, dry pieces that do not go greasy in a treat pouch.

Ingredients

Australian kangaroo meat and organs. Made in Australia.

Feeding Guide

Feed as a treat or reward, as a training aid, or crumbled over a meal as a topper. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily intake — cut the main meal back to suit. Always supervise your dog while it is eating and keep fresh drinking water available. Reseal the bag and store in a cool, dry place.
