Tapeworm tablets for dogs and cats containing praziquantel 50mg per tablet, for the control of tapeworms including hydatid tapeworm in dogs. They treat tapeworm only — pair them with an allwormer or a parasite product that covers roundworm, hookworm and whipworm.
Dose (from the manufacturer)
- Dogs: 1 tablet per 10kg bodyweight
- Cats: ½ tablet per 5kg bodyweight
- Spirometra erinacei (zipper tapeworm): 1 tablet per 2.5kg bodyweight for dogs and cats
Give as a single dose by mouth; fasting is not required. Treat every 3 months, or every 6 weeks where hydatid tapeworm is a risk. Read and follow the label directions.
