The KM Inspire is a professional detachable-blade clipper with a brushless motor. Brushless motors have no carbon brushes to wear out and replace, which is the main reason a salon buys one over a conventional motor: fewer consumable parts across years of daily use.
This is a machine for real coat work — thick double coats, heavy matting, full body clips. It takes standard KM detachable blades, so cutting length is chosen by fitting a different blade rather than moving a lever. If you only clip one small dog occasionally, this is more clipper than you need and a 5 in 1 model like the Bravura2 Pro will be easier to live with.
