A Rumbl earns its keep at dinner as much as at playtime. West Paw states that the Small (9cm) holds one cup of kibble and the Large (10cm) holds two, which for a lot of dogs is the entire meal — so instead of a bowl emptied in twenty seconds you get a hollow, wobbling toy that lets a few pieces out at a time as it rolls. The "fish trap" opening is why it works: loading is easy, but the food does not pour straight back out. It is a dry-food toy, though. West Paw describes it as a dry treat dispenser, so keep pastes and wet food for a Toppl. Stocked in eggplant, jungle green, melon, aqua blue, dandelion yellow and hot pink. Rated for moderate chewers, which makes it a feeder and a play toy rather than something to leave with a power chewer unsupervised.
