Formula One is Wombaroo's general purpose, low lactose milk replacer - the formula you reach for when a young animal needs feeding now and the species-specific product is not to hand. It is used across puppies, kittens, lambs, piglets, calves, foals, cria, marsupials and zoo species.
Being general purpose is also the limitation. Where a species-specific Wombaroo formula exists it is the better long-term choice, because milk composition varies enormously between species and a matched formula supports growth properly. Treat Formula One as the emergency and transition option, and move to the matched product where you can.
Sizes
- 500g - a single orphan or an emergency kit.
- 1kg - a litter, or a wildlife carer's standing supply.
- 5kg and 20kg - rescue groups, wildlife shelters and farm use.
Feeding
Mix according to the pack for the species you are raising and make it fresh at each feed. Warm to body temperature, never hot, and never feed a cold or dehydrated animal - it needs warming and rehydrating first. If you are caring for native wildlife, contact a licensed carer or wildlife vet as well.
