Care
Catnip response is inherited — roughly a third of cats do not react to it at all, and kittens under about six months usually do not respond either. Store the toy in a sealed bag between sessions to keep the scent strong, and rotate toys rather than leaving them all out. Supervise play and retire a toy once the fabric is torn open.
