The kitten mousses use a smaller serve than YumGuard's adult and senior cat range, and this one is sold as 60g x 12 — so if you are feeding a litter, or stepping up to the adult packs later, the portion maths changes and the number of serves per carton does not tell you much on its own. Chicken, mackerel and hake carry the protein, with whole egg, parmesan cheese and tuna oil behind them; the parmesan is worth knowing about if dairy has caused trouble before. YumGuard formulates it to meet the AAFCO recommended nutrient levels for kittens, a richer profile than adult maintenance, and the panel below shows that at 15.0% crude protein. Australian chlorella is included and is what gives the mousse its green cast.
