Cat Omega Oils

Omega oils for cats, added to food as a source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Getting a cat to accept it

Cats notice any change to their food. Start with a few drops mixed into wet food rather than poured over biscuits, and build up to the label dose over a week or two. Going slowly also helps avoid loose stools.

Fish and marine oils supply EPA and DHA directly, and algae oil does the same without fish. Hemp oil is a plant source, which is not the same thing if your vet has asked for fish oil.

Store opened bottles as the label says and use them within the stated time, since oils go rancid. Ask your vet before adding a supplement for a cat on medication.
