Fringe Studio

Fringe Studio is a United States design studio whose PetShop range turns dog toys into novelty artwork — food puns, dinosaurs, cocktails and seasonal characters. Nearly everything here is a printed soft toy with a squeaker, made for dogs that play by carrying, shaking and rustling rather than chewing.

Which part of the range suits your dog

• Plush squeaker toys — the core range. Squeaker, usually crinkle paper, soft fill. Best for gentle to moderate players.
• Drinks bottle plush — wine, beer, cold brew and champagne shapes, roughly 20-28cm, most with an extra loud squeaker. The long shape suits a dog that likes to carry.
• Halloween plush — potion bottles, a cauldron and a pumpkin porter, stocked seasonally.
• Hide & seek burrow toys — small squeaky characters tuck into a plush base and your dog works them back out. Useful for a bored dog on a wet day.
• Mini toy sets — two or three small toys in one pack, sized for small mouths and easy to rotate, and they double as refills for the burrow toys.
• Canvas toys — printed canvas with a braided rope handle, for tug and fetch rather than cuddling.
• Waste bag dispensers — printed cotton canvas or faux leather with a metal clip, and a roll of bags included.

What these toys are not

None of the Fringe Studio range is built for a determined chewer. Fringe Studio rates most designs for all dog sizes but not for aggressive chewing, and a dog that destroys soft toys will get through the seams. For that dog, look at KONG or West Paw instead, and keep the Fringe toys for supervised play.
