Every FURminator brush, comb and deShedding tool PeekAPaw carries, in one place: the Undercoat deShedding Tool for cats and for dogs, the Grooming Rake, the Sensitive Areas Tool, the Bathing Brush and the Curry Comb.

Pick by coat first. The Undercoat deShedding Tool is the one most people mean by “FURminator brush”. It comes with a short-hair or a long-hair edge, and the difference is tooth length rather than width, so the long-hair version is the only one that reaches undercoat through a long topcoat. The Grooming Rake suits very dense double coats where the deShedding edge is slow going. The Curry Comb is a short-to-medium-coat tool that lifts surface hair and spreads the coat's natural oils; it will not pull undercoat.

Two of these are not deShedders at all. The Sensitive Areas Tool is a small curved head for the face, ears, paws and belly, where a full-size deShedding edge is too harsh. The Bathing Brush dispenses shampoo or conditioner from its handle while you wash, so it works alongside the coat washes rather than instead of a deShedding tool.
