Juwel LED Aquariums & Cabinets
Every Juwel aquarium we stock sits on this page: 15 LED tanks across five model families, plus two matching base cabinets. Volumes run from 57L up to 450L, so the range covers a first community tank on a bench and a full-height display in a living room. All the tanks here are the LED versions, which means the lighting is built into the hood rather than bought separately — check each listing for exactly what is included before you budget for the rest of the setup.
Choosing a size, then a shape
Pick the volume first. Bigger water volumes are more forgiving: temperature and water chemistry move slowly, so a beginner's mistake has less effect than it would in a small tank. A 57L or 70L Primo is a sensible starter for a few small fish; 110L to 180L is the usual sweet spot for a community setup; 240L and above is where larger or messier fish become realistic. Then think about the footprint, because that is what decides where the tank can live. Primo is the compact rectangular entry range at 57L, 70L and 110L. Lido is a narrow, taller rectangle in 120L and 200L for rooms where floor space is short. RIO is the classic deep rectangle and the widest span of the range at 125L, 180L, 240L, 350L and 450L. Trigon is a corner tank — 190L and 350L — designed to use an angle that would otherwise be dead space. Vision, at 180L, 260L and 450L, has a bowed front panel that gives the display more depth from the side.
Cabinets, weight and siting
A filled aquarium is heavy: roughly a kilogram per litre of water before you add substrate, rock and the tank itself, so a 240L tank is a quarter of a tonne standing on a small footprint. That is why the two cabinets here matter — the Primo 60/70 SBX cabinet and the Trigon base cabinet are built to the matching tank footprint and take the load evenly. If you are not using a purpose-built cabinet, the stand needs to be dead level and rated for the full filled weight. Site the tank away from direct sun and away from a heating or cooling vent, and get it in position before you fill it.
