Multicube takes Australian hay, chops it coarsely to keep the fibre length long enough to chew properly, then compresses it into cubes. The range here is 20kg bags for horses — Lucerne, Lucerne & Oaten, Pasture, and Lucerne & Teff — plus a Premium Bedding Cube, and 2kg small animal packs of the same hay in rabbit and guinea pig portions.
Choosing a hay — Lucerne is the highest in protein and calcium and suits growing, working or lactating horses. Teff and pasture blends are lower in sugar and suit easy keepers, ponies and horses that need their intake managed. Cubes are not a chaff substitute for a horse that bolts its feed; soak them if your horse is old, has poor teeth, or eats too fast.
The 20kg bags are heavy freight. The 2kg small animal packs are the same hay for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small herbivores who need constant access to long-fibre forage.
