Neomax combines milbemycin oxime with praziquantel in a single tablet, so one dose prevents heartworm and treats roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm including hydatid tapeworm. Two strengths cover small dogs and puppies up to 5kg and dogs over 5kg, each in a 2 tablet pack and a 50 tablet bulk pack.
Two schedules, one tablet — heartworm prevention needs a dose every month without a gap, while intestinal worming is three-monthly for most adult dogs. If you are dosing monthly for heartworm you are covering the intestinal worms as well.
The 50 tablet packs suit breeders and multi-dog households; a single pet is better served by the 2 pack. Neomax has no flea or tick activity.
