Pet + Me is a Swiss-designed silicone grooming brush with no metal pins. The flexible silicone teeth lift loose undercoat and dirt without scratching skin, which makes it usable on animals that will not tolerate a slicker or a rake.
Choosing a brush — the range is split two ways at once: brush size (small for cats and small dogs, medium-to-large for bigger dogs) and tooth length (short hair versus long hair). Match both. A short-hair brush on a long double coat will skate over the top without reaching the undercoat, and a long-hair brush on a short-coated dog does very little.
Silicone attracts hair by static, so the brush face needs to be wiped or rinsed between passes. It is a de-shedding and finishing tool, not a de-matting tool — existing knots still need to be cut or teased out first.
